Shipping Investors May Consider an Investment in Greek Ships
A leading Greek maritime shipping businessman, says that debt-stricken Greek maritime companies, have a plethora of investment opportunities; to offer Turkish investors.
Gerassimos Agoudimos, a leading Greek ship owner, has asked investors from Turkey to consider buying ships from his country, as the prices have nearly halved; due to his country’s ongoing economic woes.
According to a note by the Turkish Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ministry, to chambers of maritime trade, some Greek transporters were ready to sell ships worth between 80,000 and 100,000 euros; at half their prices.
